egapark Erfurt

The garden and leisure paradise in the heart of Germany

The egapark in Erfurt is one of the largest and most beautiful parks in Germany.

The “Danakil” desert and jungle house, the largest ornamental flower bed in Europe, exciting themed gardens, a massive play area, a Knowledge Forest with lots of discovery stations in the forest park and the German Horticultural Museum are just some of the many high points waiting for you. The fragrance of flowers, a trip on the egapark Express or relaxing in a lounger under one of the 2,400 trees – flower and plant lovers, children who like to play, explorers and people seeking peace and quiet will find everything they need to take a break from everyday life here. And of course, you can also expect all sorts of events, exhibitions, sporting activities, workshops for adults and much more.

The egapark is located in the centre of the regional capital of Thuringia and thus benefits from a very efficient infrastructure. You can reach our garden and leisure park from every direction, using local and long-distance trains, by city rail, by bus and, of course, by car.
